The data collection methods were conducted using documentation techniques in the form of GPA data’s students and the Selection Pathways students. The population in this study were all students who still active at the Department of Informatics Engineering generation 2017, 2018, and 2019.
This research is a quantitative research. Therefore, this study aims to determine and analyze the academic achievement of students based on the Selection Pathways students at the Department of Informatics Engineering, ITERA. Assessed from the Selection Pathways students for State Universities, it is suspected that there are differences in the academic achievement of students. Parent Attention, Book Link, Study Achievement, Mathematics.Indicators of student success in the academic at university is the Cumulative grade point average (GPA). If parents attention of book link was high so mathematics student achievement also high. The score was tight score, so that the corelation were positive and significant. The score of significance of test result was 0,00. (2) The corelation between parents attention of book link with mathematics student achievement was 0,783. The implementation of book link provided many benefits, the communication with parents more smoothly, students more discipline, learning more smoothly, parental attention was better or increased, and student achievement increased. Based on the existing of data collection, the attention of the parents in the book link to learning book at school and at home, including in high level. Data analysis technique used quantitative statistic.īased on the data, it can be concluded that ( 1 ) a description of parent’s attention of book link with the average often noticed by 46,3 % and frequently with 35,0 % and then sometimes with 13,7 % and never with 3,8 %. Data collection used questionnaire, interview, and documentation. Samples were taken with technique of proportional stratified random sampling with error level of 5% so that there were 32 samples.
